Grilled Camembert with Toast

Ingredients:
  • 2 Camemberts in a wooden box (you can also use ermine)
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 peeled cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Large baguette (perhaps ciabatta)
  • Pickled cranberries (optional)
    Preparation:
  1. Remove the cheeses from the plastic packaging and return them to the wooden boxes (or place them in aluminum foil) where they were previously packaged. Finely cut both in the middle, insert the garlic and rosemary into the holes, spray the cheeses with a little oil and pepper them lightly.
  2. Heat the cheeses on the edge of the grill until they are nicely melted in the center. It will take about 10 minutes.
  3. Cut the baguette into slices, and while the cheese is melting, grill it until crispy. Serve the cheese very simply with a piece of toasted baguette, and possibly cranberries. Because it remained in the box, everyone can dip in a piece baguette and taste it.
