about 25 fresh, uncooked prawns (you can also use squid)
salt, white pepper
about 2 small teaspoons garlic powder
about 3 tablespoons oil
For Herb oil:
handful of leaf parsley
juice of one lemon
about 6 tablespoons sunflower oil
salt, white pepper
1-2 cloves garlic
To serve:
1 large ciabatta
1 clove garlic
chilli (according to taste)
Instructions: Prawn Preparation:
Mix oil with salt, pepper and garlic. Add prawns to oil and marinate, ideally overnight. Heat grill on high and grill prawns briefly on both sides.
Herb Oil Preparation:
Place all ingredients in a shallow container and liquidise with a hand blender. Allow herb oil to rest for at least an hour.
To Serve:
Once after putting prawns on the grill, add slices of bread and grill until crispy. Then rub each slice with garlic, add prawns, a few drops of herb oil, and chilli or lemon to taste.
